User Account Access
Anyone with a WUSTL Key and password can log in to https://redcap.wustl.edu/ . Once a new user has logged in, they can begin creating projects or be added to current projects.
You cannot add someone to your project until they have logged in at least once.
If you need to add an external collaborator , a Wash U "Sponsor" will need to complete the WUSTL Key Guest Account Request Form . This form needs to be completed for EVERY external collaborator, not one form per site.
After you submit your ticket, check out our WUSTL REDCap Training Materials page! It includes:
A 20 minute overview webinar A four part Introduction to REDCap webinar series Webinars showing advanced features and specific topics And more! These requests are handled by the Data Brokerage team. Please complete the Smart on FHIR request survey in order to set this up.
Select the Advanced Topics or External Tools you are currently using or would like to discuss:

If you have a statistician working on the project, discuss REDCap with them first. You may be able increase their percentage effort in order to build the project for you. This allows to potentially have the same person building, maintaining, and exporting data from your REDCap project. Even if the statistician is not able to build the REDCap project, they may have suggestions regarding project setup for accurate and efficient analyses.
The Research Data Core also offers REDCap Project Builds and Project Enhancements for a $75 per hour fee. If you are interested in these services, please:
Complete the Central Request Form for services offered by the Office of Health Information and Data Science (OHIDS) Check REDCap support (building/enhancing REDCap project) For data pulls from EPIC to REDCap, check the box REDCap Smart on FHIR request Complete the remainder of the survey. You will receive a follow-up email to schedule a free one hour consultation to discuss the project Following the consultation, you will receive a Statement of Work (SOW) that contains the total estimated cost (Total hours * per hour fee). If you agree to the SOW, the RDC will finish the project based on the terms agreed to. Many groups choose to build and maintain their own projects using the training and support materials in our REDCap Confluence page and basic free REDCap Support provided by submitting questions to this ticketing system.
